Residential Waterproofing Services

We offer a number of solutions for protecting your home. Below are brief descriptions of each solution with links to more detailed descriptions, photos, and documentation.

The typical method of dampproofing involves applying a layer of unmodified asphalt that’s only 10 mils thick when cured. Dampproofing degrades quickly underground, becomes brittle and shatters at low temperatures, so even thicker applications yield little, if any, improvement.

This unmodified asphalt won’t span foundation settling cracks, nor will it stop water flow under hydrostatic pressure – which both occur naturally underground. As a result, dampproofing only delays water penetration instead of providing a long-term preventive shield against it.

Our dampproofing is an asphalt emulsion with polymer added to give the product more flexibility at lower temperatures than traditional dampproofing products.

Dampproofing is not waterproofing! For protection against water penetration, consider an advanced home waterproofing product such as WATER-TITE 10, 15 or 30.
